DETROIT — Dillon Dingler and Kerry Carpenter hit home runs as the Detroit Tigers defeated the Athletics 11-4 on Tuesday night at Comerica Park.
The Tigers offense provided ample support, with Dingler hitting a three-run shot and Carpenter adding a two-run homer. The victory improved Detroit's record.
