Mauricio Dubón delivered a walk-off single in the 10th inning, lifting the Houston Astros to a 2-1 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Sunday. Victor Caratini's sacrifice fly in the ninth tied the game, ultimately leading to the Astros sweeping the three-game series.
Jake Meyers, who began the 10th inning at second base as the automatic runner, scored the winning run on Dubón's single to left field with two outs.
Astros starting pitcher Brandon Walter turned in a strong outing, allowing just one run on six hits while striking out nine over 6 2/3 innings. Relievers Shawn Dubin, Bennett Sousa, and Josh Hader combined for 3 1/3 scoreless innings. Hader earned the win, improving his record to 4-0.

The Astros tied the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. Jeremy Peña led off with a walk and stole second base. After Jose Altuve singled to move Peña to third, Victor Caratini hit a sacrifice fly off Twins closer Jhoan Duran, scoring Peña and forcing extra innings with the score tied 1-1.
The walk-off win extended the Astros' winning streak to five games. They have won 16 of their last 22 games, giving them a five-game lead over the second-place Seattle Mariners in the AL West standings. This win followed their 3-2 walk-off victory over the Twins on Saturday.
The Astros continue their homestand Monday, opening a four-game series against the Athletics. Lance McCullers Jr. (1-2, 4.91 ERA) is scheduled to start for Houston. The Athletics had not announced their starter.
The Twins have an off day Monday before beginning a three-game series in Cincinnati on Tuesday. David Festa (1-1, 4.76 ERA) is scheduled to start for Minnesota, opposing the Reds' Andrew Abbott (6-1, 1.87 ERA).
