The decisive run for the Braves came in the tenth inning when Dansby Swanson scored on a wild pitch from Diamondbacks pitcher Yoshihisa Hirano. Atlanta had held a two-run lead entering the bottom of the ninth before Arizona tied the game, forcing the contest into extra frames where the Braves ultimately prevailed.
