Game Recap

On Wednesday night, the Chicago Cubs earned a 10-7 victory against the New York Mets. Chicago quickly built a significant nine-run lead, powered in part by three home runs hit off New York's starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard, including a blast by Kyle Schwarber. Although the Mets mounted a late rally, Cubs closer Craig Kimbrel entered the game in the ninth inning and managed to hold them off to clinch the win.
